These terms cover your use of the Diemo mobile application (“the app”), published by Sopravo (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.
Your content
The counters, names, dates, and photos you add remain yours. We claim no ownership over them. As set out in our Privacy Policy, this content stays on your device unless you choose to back it up to your own Google Drive (a Diemo Pro feature).
You are responsible for keeping your own backups. Uninstalling the app, resetting your device, or losing access to your Google account may result in permanent loss of your data, and we cannot recover it for you.
Background photo library
Background images offered inside the app are supplied by Pexels and are subject to the Pexels licence. They are provided for use within the app. Photos you add from your own device are your own responsibility — only use images you have the right to use.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to interfere with the app's operation or security.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We may also update these terms; if we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes affecting paid features we will tell you in the app or through Google Play. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
If we ever discontinue the app entirely, active subscriptions will not be renewed and you will keep the ability to export your data locally for as long as the app runs on your device.
Free features and Diemo Pro
The app is free to download and use. A number of features are available only with Diemo Pro, a paid upgrade: for example unlimited active counters, all visual styles, using your own photos as backgrounds, backing up to Google Drive, and sharing without the Diemo mark. Photos from the in-app library are free. The exact set of Pro features is shown inside the app at the point of purchase and may change over time as the app evolves. We will not remove a feature you paid for from the Pro tier without notice.
Buying Diemo Pro
Diemo Pro is sold in the app and billed by Google Play. Google Play processes the payment, issues the receipt, and applies its own terms of service in addition to these terms. Sopravo never receives your payment details.
Diemo Pro is offered as:
- Lifetime — a one-time payment that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is available. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Yearly and Monthly — auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock Pro for the billing period and renew automatically at the same price until cancelled.
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm. They may vary by country and may change in future; a price change for an existing subscription will be communicated through Google Play in advance and takes effect only after you accept it, or at your next renewal where the law and Google Play's rules allow.
Free trials
Where offered, a free trial gives you Pro for the trial period at no charge. When the trial ends the subscription starts and you are charged, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trials are available once per Google account, and Google Play decides eligibility.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current period. You cancel in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), or from Settings → Diemo Pro → Manage subscription in the app, which opens the same page. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
When Pro ends
If a subscription lapses or a purchase is refunded, the app returns to the free tier. Nothing you created is deleted. Counters above the free limit remain visible and editable; you simply cannot add more until you clear some or upgrade again. Pro styles fall back to the default style, and Pro-only settings are kept but paused so they apply again if you re-subscribe. Restoring an existing Google Drive backup stays available without Pro, so you can always get your own data back.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us first at [email protected] and we will do what we reasonably can, including pointing you to the right Google Play request. Nothing in this section limits refund rights you have under the law of your country.
Restoring a purchase
Pro is tied to the Google account used to buy it. If you reinstall the app or change devices, sign in to Google Play with that account and use Restore purchases in the app (Settings → Diemo Pro, or on the Pro screen). Pro cannot be transferred to a different Google account.
Availability
Diemo Pro is currently available on Android through Google Play. If we release the app on other platforms, purchases there will be handled by that platform's store under its own terms, and a purchase on one platform does not automatically carry over to another unless we say so at the time.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will preserve your data.
Diemo is a general-purpose tool for tracking dates. It is not a medical, health, financial, or professional advice service, and it should not be relied on as one.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sopravo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence, which apply regardless of anything stated here.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms.
